ASL STEEL: Medium density fibreboard now available at ASL Steel Division

ASL Steel Division is now supplying medium density fibreboard imported from Robin in Malaysia. This type of hardboard is made from wood fibres combined with wax and resin binder. MDFs are made up of separated fibres and are generally denser than plywood thus making it a stronger option. As it is made of fine particles, it doesn’t have an easily recognizable surface grain, making it better for painting and filing without damaging the surface. These fibreboards are quite popular in the market and mainly used to make wall panels, cabinets and storage units.
