16th July 2016 the management and staff of ASL Packaging Limited appreciated long serving employees, employees who have stood with the company through thick and thin, those who have watched the company grow from owning only 2 computers, employees who joined the company as bachelors and are now happily married and with grown up children. It was also a special day for Mr. Hasit as he thanked employees who began this journey with him and have diligently served this company. The event was held at Sahara City at Choma Zone along Mombasa Road.
76 employees who had worked for the company between 5 – 20 years were awarded, with a majority of the employees having worked for ASL Packaging for more than 15 years. The employees received a certificate, a solar-charged torch and a modern cooking jiko dubbed “Jikokoa”. The chief guests, Mr. Hasit and the Group HR Director Mr. Dennis Nyongesa personally issued the certificates and took selfies with the employees. The culmination of the event was the signing of The Wall of Fame, where the employees appended their signatures and committed to the Ramco Group philosophy, ‘every relationship is a family and family comes first.’
