Die Cutting Experts Ltd sent 3 of its Kenyan team to Lebanon for 3 months of training. The training took place at DCEL’s Lebanese partner’s factory that designs and makes laser dies for its Lebanese clients.
Solomon Owiti and James Laktar are both experienced manual die makers who joined the DCEL team in July. They had never made laser cut dies before and their 3 months in Lebanon was to give them this next level training before DCEL begins operations in Kenya soon. Similarly, die designer Nelson Morowa travelled for training in the computer designing of laser dies.
As Nelson said on his return, “The 3 months training we have received will give us a very strong foundation in making world class laser dies at The Die-Cutting Experts in the near future.”
