ASL – Wire & Cable Division will start manufacturing aluminum cables conductors from September 2015. To date the company has been manufacturing only copper cables in various forms.
The primary application for aluminum conductors is for transporting electricity through the national grid. In recent months the government has started expanding the grid to supply more rural homes. This expansion provides a large opportunity for ASL Cables to open up new markets and products.
