In partnership with Bloodlink Foundation, Ramco Group organized a three-day blood donation drive running from 26 April to 28 April 2018. Through the successful drive, 352 pints of blood were collected from over 350 Ramco Group staff participants.<\/p>\n
The blood collection exercise was carried out across multiple locations of the Group\u2019s companies, where staff across 45 different companies were encouraged to donate blood to help sure that the community needs are met. The blood is being stored by the Bloodlink Foundation and will be utilised for hospitals in Nairobi and the surrounding areas for natal care as well as cancer, anemia and malaria treatment.<\/p>\n
Bloodlink Foundation is a non-profit charitable trust that partners with the National Blood Transfusion Service (NBTS) to find and mobilise blood donors to ensure sufficient safe blood for needy Kenyans.<\/p>\n
