He was then promoted to factory in 1980 where he has worked until present day. He is now a Supervisor at the factory. &#8216;I have really enjoyed working for ASL Steel, gaining a wealth of experience and product knowledge such that I can now manufacture anything stainless as long as I have the materials,&#8217; he enthused.<\/p>\n<p>Alfred Okumu joined ASL Steel in 1979 under the previous owners. He has worked in the welding department from the onset which deals with the welding of all steel products. He says, &#8216;Working here has been like working with family. The management, working conditions and working relationships are excellent.
